Privacy promise
Your data is for this petition, not for sale or outside sharing.
We collect only what we need to verify petition signatures, operate contact forms, prevent abuse, organize this civic effort, and ask the City of Casa Grande for surveillance reform.
Core commitment
We will not sell, rent, trade, publish, or give your data to outside groups.
We will not sell, rent, trade, or publish your personal data. We will not share your personal data with political campaigns, advertisers, data brokers, private companies, Flock, or unrelated organizations. The intended uses are to operate this Casa Grande Flock oversight effort, communicate with people who explicitly ask for updates, prevent abuse, and petition the City of Casa Grande for change.
What we collect
- Petition name, email address, ZIP code, resident status, policy selections, optional comments, and update opt-in preference.
- Deletion-request name, email address, and request details.
- Contact-council name, email address, subject, and message body when you use that form.
- Basic security information, such as a hashed IP address, browser user agent, and spam-protection results.
How we use it
- To verify and count petition signatures.
- To show city leaders that residents want Flock surveillance reform.
- To send progress updates only if you opt in.
- To send council-contact messages you ask us to send.
- To process deletion, privacy, correction, or legal requests.
- To prevent spam, abuse, duplicate signatures, fraudulent submissions, and unauthorized admin access.
Sharing with the city
To petition for change, we may provide the City of Casa Grande with the minimum petition information needed to authenticate, count, or consider signatures, policy selections, and comments. We will not provide your update opt-in preference unless it is necessary to verify petition records. We will not use your data for unrelated campaigns or unrelated issues.
Email and council messages
Progress updates are optional. If you do not check the update box on the petition, we will not use your email for campaign updates. If you opt in, updates will be limited to this Casa Grande Flock surveillance reform effort. If you use the Contact City Council form, your name, email address, subject, and message are used to send the message and may be visible to city recipients.
Security and retention
We use access controls, spam protection, and hashed IP addresses to protect the petition. We keep petition records only as long as needed for the petition effort, record integrity, legal obligations, city review, deletion handling, security, or abuse prevention.
Service providers
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages, Pages Functions, D1, Turnstile, and Cloudflare Email Service. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to host the site, protect forms, store petition records, and deliver messages. We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and improve this civic effort.
Cookies, analytics, and anti-spam checks
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar signals to measure page visits and basic site usage. We do not use analytics to sell personal data or run advertising retargeting. Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar signals to distinguish people from bots when you submit protected forms.
Questions and legal requests
For privacy, correction, legal, or copyright questions, email [email protected]. Please include enough detail for us to identify the relevant record or page. We may need to keep limited records when required for security, audit logs, legal obligations, or to prevent repeat abuse.
Delete your data
Request deletion at any time.
If you want your petition data deleted, submit this form using the email address you used to sign. We will use that email to verify the request and process deletion of matching petition data unless we are legally required to keep a limited record.
Submitting a deletion request does not publicly reveal whether an email address has signed the petition.
